You can also enjoy the family-friendly Rumpelstielschen Trail and Water Trail.

Winter Wonderland

In winter, our village is covered in snow and the area is transformed into a winter wonderland.
The many trails surrounding Bad Peterstal-Griesbach is also perfect for nature lovers in winter. Over 15 hiking trails are specifically designed for winter hikes, with two snowshoe trails specifically for the more adventurous traveller. The trails are well signposted and many start in our village.
We offer snowshoes and hiking sticks for those looking to do winter hikes.

Nationalpark Schwarzwald

Since 1 January 2014, the Black Forest has been given national park status. Known as the Schwarzwald National Park, this is only one of 15 national parks in Germany.
A staggering 10,062 hectares, the national park stretches along the south west border of Germany. From Bad Peterstal-Griesbach you can reach Alexanderschanze, the highest summit in the northern part of the Black Forest by car in 10 minutes. This is an ideal starting point to explore the Schwarzwald National Park.
