THE WESTWEG

Westweg-Schild

This trail was established by the Black Forest Association in 1900 as the first long-distance hiking trail, spanning an impressive 285 kilometers where you will cross towering mountains and deep waters.
The Westweg is recognized as one of the top trails of Germany. It starts in Pforzheim, in the northern region of the Black Forest, and divides into a western and eastern route at Titisee. Both trails lead to Basel, where the countries of Switzerland, Germany and France intersect.
